Nissan has worked with German camper specialist Eifelland to develop the Interstar-e Relax, an electric camper van configured to accommodate four people. Based on the Interstar-e commercial van, the conversion combines a large traction battery with a compact living area designed to support travel without relying on an external power connection.
The Relax uses an 87 kWh battery pack and carries a WLTP-rated driving range of up to 408 miles. Nissan says the same battery can also supply the equipment installed in the camper, allowing the kitchen appliances and heating system to operate without a separate external power source. The van supports charging at up to 130 kW, although Nissan has not provided a quoted time for charging from 10% to 80%.
Power comes from a single electric motor producing 143 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque.
