Lynk & Co GT Concept Unveiled at Beijing Auto Show

27 Apr 2026

Chinese automaker Lynk & Co has introduced its first supercar concept, the GT, at the Beijing Auto Show. Celebrating the brand’s 10th anniversary, the GT concept showcases Lynk & Co’s latest vision for design and engineering, hinting at what future production models could offer.

The GT concept adopts the proportions of a modern grand tourer, measuring 188.2 inches in length, 78.7 inches in width, and standing just 52.4 inches tall. Its 108.3-inch wheelbase gives it a low, robust stance. The exterior design features Apex Blue paint with a liquid-metal finish and contrasting Spark Yellow accents. Surfaces are designed to interact with light, giving the car a dynamic appearance as the viewer moves around it.

Interior and Features

Inside, the GT concept adopts a 2+2 seating arrangement, combining premium white “Digital Shimmer” leather with hand-finished Textreme 360 carbon fiber elements. The cabin balances modern luxury with motorsport-inspired details. A distinctive “+” button on the center console allows drivers to activate a performance mode: suspension lowers by 0.6 inches, aerodynamic elements extend at both ends (increasing overall length by 3.9 inches), and a rear wing deploys for extra downforce.

Technical Specifications and Performance

The Lynk & Co GT concept is built on a rear-wheel-drive architecture with a chassis influenced by motorsport. An AI-based mot

ion control system manages dynamics, targeting extreme performance. The manufacturer claims a 0-62 mph acceleration time of approximately 2.0 seconds, positioning the car among the fastest concepts in its segment.

Design Collaboration and Market Outlook

Development of the GT concept was a joint effort between Lynk & Co’s European and Chinese teams, with significant Swedish design influence. Feedback from the company’s global community of over 1.7 million users also played a role in shaping the concept. While not confirmed for production, positive response at the Beijing Auto Show could encourage Lynk & Co to bring the GT to market in the future.

Editorial Assessment

The Lynk & Co GT concept stands out as a clear statement of intent from the Chinese automaker. With its striking proportions, advanced aerodynamics, and high-performance claims, the concept signals Lynk & Co’s ambition to compete with established grand tourer models. The collaborative design process and embrace of user feedback highlight a modern approach to car development. If Lynk & Co decides to take the GT from concept to production, it could redefine perceptions of Chinese performance vehicles. For now, the GT concept serves as a showcase for the brand’s design and engineering capabilities, and its impact will likely be seen in future Lynk & Co models targeting both domestic and international markets.
