Ford has previewed a new Bronco Filson Edition, a premium and rugged four-door off-roader created in partnership with the Seattle-based outdoor apparel brand. The model will make its official debut on June 3 before arriving at US dealers in early 2027.
The new Ford Bronco Filson Edition is designed to push the off-road SUV further into lifestyle territory, combining Bronco capability with Filson’s outdoors-focused brand image.
Ford describes the model as a premium 4×4 aimed at adventurers who want durable, trustworthy gear when conditions become challenging. The approach follows a familiar formula in the car industry, where automakers partner with outdoor or apparel brands to give certain trims a more rugged lifestyle identity.
The first teaser image focuses on the rear of the SUV and reveals Bronco Filson branding on the spare wheel cover. The vehicle appears to be a four-door Bronco finished in metallic green, paired with a color-matched hardtop.
Chunky tires and flared fenders suggest the model may be equipped with the Sasquatch package, although Ford has not yet released the full specification list.
Ford has not shown the cabin yet, but the Filson influence is expected to be most visible inside the SUV. The partnership could bring unique upholstery, special trim details, and materials inspired by durable outdoor gear.
For now, Ford is keeping the main technical and design details for the official reveal on June 3.
Dave Rivers, head of Ford enthusiast brands, said the collaboration with Filson was a natural fit because Bronco is built to be rugged, capable, and honest.
Filson’s VP of sales and brand partnerships, Neil Morgan, added that the company views premium not simply as polished or expensive, but as dependable and long-lasting.
Ford and Filson have worked together before. In 2020, the two companies created the Bronco x Filson Wildland Fire Rig, a one-off concept built as a tribute to firefighters and connected to fundraising for the National Forest Foundation.
The new Bronco Filson Edition turns that earlier concept-style collaboration into a production trim, giving Ford another lifestyle-focused variant for the Bronco lineup.
More details about the Ford Bronco Filson Edition will be released before its June 3 debut. The SUV is scheduled to go on sale in the US in early 2027.
