Chery's dynamic and avant-garde coupe-SUV model, the OMODA 5, shaped by the "Art in Motion" philosophy with its infinity grille, is undeniably one of the most attention-grabbing cars on the streets. Scanning the vehicle from the outside with my journalistic curiosity, I see that the aggressive lines and the sloping C-batterylar add a sense of movement to the car even when parked. It is a highly aesthetic car that will look great in the background, especially when creating content reflecting a dynamic lifestyle for social media.

On the mechanical side, Asian engineers are quite ambitious. The 1.6-liter TGDI turbo engine producing 183 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque works incredibly nimbly with the Getrag-signed 7-speed DCT transmission, as I can say as a former auto service owner. Going from 0 to 100 in 8.6 seconds, this vehicle is very open to surprises in the left lane. However, the fuel bill for this aggressive acceleration reaches 9.5 liters in heavy traffic. Stepping into the cabin, the sportsts "bucket" seats and the dual-screen modern console offer luxury well above its price bracket. The trunk, remaining at 378 liters due to the coupe design, is a small tax paid for this elegance.
