Aston Martin has introduced a five-car Heritage Collection for the United States, created with Aston Martin Newport Beach and the Q by Aston Martin division ahead of Monterey Car Week. The project pairs current production models with paint colors drawn from the company’s archive, including shades associated with the DB4, DB5 and DB6. Rather than selecting finishes from the current order sheet, the partners looked to Aston Martin’s earlier catalog.
Only five cars have been built, with one example based on each of the DB12 Coupe, DB12 Volante, Vanquish Coupe, Vantage Coupe and Vantage Roadster. All five are available exclusively through Aston Martin Newport Beach. Their exterior colors were offered by Aston Martin during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s and are not normally listed among the brand’s current choices.
The DB12 Volante is finished in Pale Primrose, a color used for the DB4 and shown on the cover of the model’s 1958 sales brochure. Inside, the car receives Dark Walnut Open Pore Wood inlays, Q Heritage embroidery on the center armrest and Heritage Edition sill plaques. These details establish the interior treatment that is repeated across the collection.
A DB12 Coupe joins it in Pacific Blue, a shade previously available on the DB4, DB5 and DB6. The coupe carries the same Heritage Collection cabin details, including the wood inlays, embroidered armrest and sill plaques. Its finish connects the modern DB12 with three earlier DB models named in the source.
The one-off Vanquish Coupe is painted Tudor Green, taken from Aston Martin’s color palette of the 1970s. It is also the first Vanquish fitted with the Q division’s bespoke perforated fluted seats. According to the source, the same seat design has been installed in the other four Heritage Collection cars.
A Vantage Coupe finished in Winchester Blue and a Vantage Roadster painted Mink Silver complete the group. Winchester Blue is another color linked to the 1970s, while Mink Silver was inspired by a finish offered on the DB6. Both Vantage models also use the perforated fluted seats specified for the collection.
The Heritage Collection follows the same archival approach across all five cars: each combines a present-day Aston Martin model with a color selected from an earlier period of the company’s history, then adds Q division interior details. No pricing was provided in the source, and the cars were presented as one-off creations rather than additions to the regular order list.
The collection was revealed as Aston Martin prepared for Monterey Car Week, where the brand is also bringing the rare Vanquish 25. The source identifies Aston Martin Newport Beach as the exclusive outlet for the five Heritage Collection models, but gives no further information on individual buyers, delivery timing or availability after the event.
