Review
Presented to the European and Turkish markets with BYD's "Dragon Face" design language, the Atto 3 is shaking things up in the electric C-SUV segment. Having analyzed how brands manage perception for years in the media sector, I can clearly see that BYD is directly targeting the "masses" with this harmonious, soft-lined, yet premium-looking design.
Mechanically, the star of the show is definitely the 60.4 kWh "Blade" battery. As a former mechanical workshop owner, the fact that these batteries with LFP chemistry are one of the most reliable technologies in the sector regarding non-flammability and longevity is a huge plus. The electric motor producing 204 horsepower smoothly accelerates the car from 0 to 100 in 7.3 seconds. However, where the Atto 3 is truly talked about is its extraordinary "gym and music" concept interior with guitar-string door pockets, dumbbell-shaped air vents, and a 15.6-inch tablet screen that rotates vertically/horizontally with a single button. Ironing out rough roads with its comfortable suspensions, the Atto 3 is a tremendous marriage of logic for those seeking a technological and safe daily companion.
