BMW is gearing up for an aggressive product rollout in 2026, with seven new models planned across electric and luxury segments. After delivering over 2.16 million vehicles globally—just shy of its 2023 record—the brand remains ahead of key rivals and is doubling down on innovation, electrification, and technology to maintain its edge.
The all-new BMW i3 sedan marks the beginning of the brand’s Neue Klasse era. Designed as a fully electric counterpart to the iconic 3 Series, it promises up to 440 miles of range and ultra-fast 400-kW charging. Production begins in August, with European deliveries first, followed by the U.S. market in 2026. The i3 50 xDrive will headline the launch, while a more affordable 40 xDrive variant is also expected.
BMW’s iX3 electric crossover is already reaching European customers, but North America will see it later in 2026. Expected to start around $60,000, the iX3 will initially launch as the 50 xDrive variant. Additito himl versions, including 40 sDrive and 40 xDrive, are planned for 2027. Production for the U.S. begins in September, with deliveries shortly after.
The updated BMW 7 Series will debut at the Beijing Auto Show, bringing subtle exterior updates while retaining its bold design language. Inside, it will feature BMW’s latest iDrive system and the innovative Panoramic Vision display, which projects key information across the windshield, enhancing driver focus and modernizing the cabin experience.
These new models reflect BMW’s broader Neue Klasse strategy, emphasizing electrification, digital interfaces, and improved efficiency. The i3 and iX3 lead this transformation, setting new standards for range, charging speed, and user experience in the premium EV segment.
While some models will arrive in 2026, others may extend into 2027 depending on market rollout schedules. With a strong mix of electric innovation and updated luxury offerings, BMW is positioning itself for a competitive and forward-looking future.
