The Lucid Gravity is a full-size electric SUV that combines exceptional interior space, impressive performance and class-leading efficiency. Despite its massive footprint, it cleverly disguises its size with a lower, sleeker profile, while delivering more usable room than key rivals. Design and Dimensions

At 5 metres long and 2.2 metres wide, the Gravity is undeniably large, weighing around 2.7 tonnes in seven-seat Grand Touring form. However, compared with rivals like the Mercedes EQS SUV and Volvo EX90, it is shorter and significantly lower, giving it a more streamlined, almost estate-like silhouette. This design helps reduce visual bulk and contributes to its efficiency.

Interior Space and Practicality

Inside, the Gravity surprises with outstanding space. The driving position feels natural and even slightly sporty, while the second row offers exceptional legroom and a notably low floor. The third row is genuinely usable for adults, even on longer journeys, which is rare in this segment.

Battery options include an 89kWh pack in the Touring model and a larger 123kWh unit in the Grand Touring. The latter delivers up to 442 miles of WLTP range, comfortably ahead of the Mercedes EQS 580 SUV and Volvo EX90.

It is not planned for right-hand-drive production, meaning markets like the UK are unlikely to receive it. Instead, Lucid is preparing to enter new markets with upcoming models such as the Cosmos, aimed at competing with vehicles like the BMW iX3 and Volvo EX60.
